Skins are cosmetic content for Awesomenauts which alter their splash art, portrait and in-game appearance. Skins are either common (which usually involve merely a "costume"/appearance change), premium (which includes custom voice acting, in addition to visual changes) and ultimate (which includes custom theme and killing spree theme, in addition to all previous features).

While most skins can be purchased with real money, there are some that can only be obtained in special events and others that can no longer be obtained at all.

Qi'Tara	Serving as a member of the Order of the Scargi Emperor, Qi'Tara sometimes has to go undercover and blend into the crowd to protect Emperor Piere Feu Darret. Being a Chilasi (and armed to the teeth), that's rarely an easy feat. As a result, these tasks are usually left to other members of her Order when opportunities alow. Once a year though, during the national Splumb Carnival, Qi'Tara mingles with the splumb-covered, masked partygoers - marvelling many with what they think is an elaborate Chilasi-costume. The only ones that find out she's not just PRETENDING to be a heavily armed Chilasi warrior are the would-be assassins she encounters. For Qi'Tara the Splumb Carnival is the best day of the year as it allows her to indulge in her two favorite things: splumbs and murder. This DLC contains a custom skin for Qi'Tara in Awesomenauts. You need to have Qi'Tara available as a playable character in order to access the skin in-game. Owning this skin will also unlock the special portrait for use in-game. This skin contains a fully customized voice set.
Commander Rocket	Serving the Scargi Emperor was one of the happiest times in the life of Commander Rocket. Not only was he allowed to lead his Renegades into battle in service of the Scargo race, he also spent a lot of his time in the palace kitchens to enjoy his third-greatest passion: cooking (the others being fighting and cursing). None of the Scargo cooks initially thought much of the little guy, but with a little help from a tiny companion he found in the pantry, he quickly turned out to be able to create beautiful banquets and majestic meals from the simplest ingredients. They gave him full access to the kitchen on just one condition: never to bring any salt into the kitchen, as it was a hazardous substance to the snail-like Scargo., When the Renegades were driven from the Scargo forces, it not only meant the Commander was left without an army, but he also found a new hobby: hunting down the Scargo emperor! Sometimes he still dons his old apron though... just to remind him of happier times. This DLC contains a custom skin for Commander Rocket in Awesomenauts. You need to have Commander Rocket available as a playable character in order to access the skin in-game. Owning this skin will also unlock the special portrait for use in-game. This skin contains a fully customized voice set.
Smiles	Some crocodiles just want to watch the world burn. Pyromancer Smiles won't settle for that. He has peered into the flames and had visions of him setting all of creation ablaze! He's left the (now scorched) swamps of Ribbit II on a quest to fulfill this dark destiny, and stowed away on the Awesomenauts vessel to visit distant worlds. What's left standing after a battle is incinerated by the Pyromancer, until only ash remains. He's dark, he's angry, and he's armed with a flamethrower. Don't cross Pyromancer Smiles as he'll burn you to a crisp! The Flames command it! This DLC contains a custom skin for Smiles in Awesomenauts. You need to have Smiles available as a playable character in order to access the skin in-game. Owning this skin will also unlock the special portrait for use in-game. This skin contains a fully customized voice set.
Chucho Krokk	As the Inquisition engulfed Europe in the first centuries of the previous millenium, whispers spread of a dark hunter. These stories spoke of a man wielding weapons forged in Hellfire, laying waste to demons and witches and leaving only charred skulls in his wake. Even the the fiercest demons would scatter to the winds as soon as they heard the roar of his steel horse, and their numbers dwindled rapidly. After slaying the last demon in Europe in a dark forest late in the fifteenth century, the man got atop his steel horse and set off to another world in need of his services. One of the villagers saved by the man said he had a face pale as bone and introduced himself Skull Chopper Chucho, and that he would return if our world was ever threatened by hellspawn once more. This DLC contains a custom skin for Chucho Krokk in Awesomenauts, and comes with a fully customized voice set!
	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Overdrive expansion. Even an infamous bounty hunter needs to let off a little steam sometimes and Chucho could do with a little sun. Equipped with two water pistols, a swim ring, and an inflatable plastic mammal, he's ready to just lie in the sand and work on that tan a little. That said... the water pistols look surprisingly similar to his regular pistols with some cool modifications, and you can hear a couple of sticky bombs rattling under his swim ring. Who ever said you can't be ready to collect bounties AND relax on the beach at the same time? This DLC contains a custom skin for Chucho Krokk in Awesomenauts!
Clunk	A team of unruly mercenaries is given the assignment to take out a corrupt military leader and a rogue operative on a Latin American island. Their leader: Expendable Clunk! Double the action, triple the explosions and a-ten-hut for the Master of Metal!
	It was a dark and stormy night. You run around the Awesomenauts base, but too late you realize that remote spot in the back where you forgot to place a torch. You look around frantically but can’t spot a thing... until... SSSSSSSsss BANG! Creeper Clunk is all up in your grill! This new skin for everyone’s favorite Awesomenaut, Clunk, can’t be bought or downloaded anywhere! The only way you can get it is to hunt one down in-game and kill it dead!

Dizzy	When the Aqua-Fu calls, you answer. Nowadays the Aqua-Fu also tends to send a text message when it can't reach you by phone. When Dizzy got the text she set off on a pilgrimage to the Aqua-Fu home nebula: the Waxxon spiral. There, she met with Noodle Smiggs, a man with a terrible name but mythical Aqua-Fu skills. She spent three gruelling years in training, lifting rocks with nothing but the drops of sweat on her forehead, washing dishes while manipulating the flow of water from across the room, and cleaning spaceships down in the spaceport for some extra cash. After years of training, Dizzy was introduced to the secrets of the Scrolls of Xi-Pang and her training entered its final stages. The scrolls had given her untold insight into how Aqua-Fu Masters were all that stood between hidden, unspeakable horrors and the people of the galaxy, and the role she was set to play in events yet to unfold. She had become Kunoichi Dizzy, Master of the Aqua-Fu. This DLC contains a custom skin for Dizzy in Awesomenauts. Deadlift	Between the times when the great Milk Sea drank Great Wisentia and the rise of the Calves of Moo-Noo, there was a beastly age on Flexon. But hark! Here rises the Bullbarian from his long slumber! Having dined on raw meat and spiced milk, he sets off into the wild yonder. Kings beg for his services, witches tremble in his wake and gladiators shake with fear as he approaches. Now, he finds himself with a stranger crew still as a band of Awesomenauts have plucked him from the mists of his bygone era. The times may be unfamiliar to him, but one thing is unchanged: in battle, the mightiest hoof still wins. This DLC contains a custom skin for Deadlift in Awesomenauts. Add to that a pair of supertight swimming trunks and we've got a clear winner. The Grandmaster Splash skin! This DLC contains a custom skin for Froggy G in Awesomenauts.

Ix the Interloper	As angels are usually peaceful and quite focused on their herbal infusions, the Heavens did little more than weep as soulless robots and demonic mercenaries slowly spread across the galaxy. However, one of these angels could no longer stand idly by and decided that the time had come to intervene in the realm of mortals. Turning the weapons of the robotic overlords against themselves, this angel became an armored being of high-tech destruction. Now this fusion-powered, nano-enhanced, tungsten-plated angel is feared across the galaxy. In their frightened whispers its adversaries call this mysterious being 'the Steel Seraph'. Having made landfall on Luxor, the Steel Seraph strikes fear in the hearts of all droids, robots, and demonic influences in the region of space dominated by the ones and zeros. Its first destination? Jimmy And The Lux5000	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Overdrive expansion. Sir Jimmy Lionheart and his sister, Lady Amy, are the finest knights in the realm. They've slain countless foes, laid waste to many invading armies, and are responsible for driving the dragons to extinction. Their prowess has become so legendary, that no opponent is foolish enough to challenge them or oppose the kingdom. After many centuries, peace finally rules in the realm. But the Lionhearts are forged for battle, so after many years peace eventually grew boring. That's when they heard about the Awesomenauts, a band of mercenaries embroiled in perpetual war, and set off to a land far far away to once-again fight side by side. This DLC contains a custom skin for Jimmy and the LUX5000 in Awesomenauts!
Sheriff Lonestar	Pull over buster! Freeze! The strong arm of the law has arrived and is gonna give you a ticket for looking horribly out of style in that old Cowboy attire! Your enemies will respect your authority if you upgrade your old Sheriff outfit with the new Officer Lonestar skin, and if they don't they'll be looking at four to five years in an intergalactic state penitentiary.
	Mels is a cool kid that visited the Ronimo studio some months ago as part of a day that was organized for him by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundations is a non-profit organisation that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, such as Mels.
	Hailing from an even more distant future than 3587, the Loninator has come to wrangle the Bovinion who would one day stop the rise of the Genetically Engineered Cowboy Overlords. This DLC contains a custom skin for Sheriff Lonestar in Awesomenauts, and comes with a fully customized voice set!
Max Focus	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Overdrive expansion to use in-game. The servants of Kethkar had gathered in the deepest, most sacred room of the hidden refuge known as the Blood Halls. There they awaited word from the Blood God, who would give all of them a purpose in this world. And from his throne, Kethkar spoke to the first of them, a Wraithlord: "You will be my hand, and strike the non-believers from this world!". He then turned to Max, and spoke "And you will be my eyes! Find the non-believers and spy on them! Reveal their secrets to me!" And so Max found his new purpose, having reported on the news across many different worlds in the years before, he would now forevermore use his skills in service of the Blood God. This DLC contains a custom skin for Max Focus in Awesomenauts, and comes with a fully customized voice set!
Professor Milton Yoolip	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Overdrive expansion. Professor Milton Yoolip has made many inventions, but his best work is quite possible a fully-sentient robot that mimics his every move. Whenever duty calls but Yoolip would rather spend his time tinkering on new gadgets or go to the park with his granddaughter, he sends Clockwork Yoolip to take his stead. Few people even notice the difference, given the Professor's eccentric personality and the many tools he usually carries around. This DLC contains a custom skin for Professor M. Yoolip in Awesomenauts!
	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Overdrive expansion. Professor Yoolip’s most dangerous invention is probably the 8-Bit Game Cartridge-to-Reality generator, which is capable of reading any game cartridge from that ‘80s and turn the world contained within to reality. When he first tried this invention, it unleashed dragons, demons, and countless other monsters into the world… and a lot of heroes that wouldn’t do anything unless told specifically where to go. Among these armored knights, boys in tights, and foreign princes, Yoolip found what appeared to be an 8-Bit version of himself… just sitting there, waiting for someone to take control of his destiny. Realising he had just become the hero to a dozen different games at the same time, Yoolip took matters into his own hands and modified his invention to allow him to take control of his 8-Bit counterpart. Now he and his Robo Dinos are ready for some old school action! This DLC contains a custom skin for Professor M. Yoolip in Awesomenauts. 	A famous man once said that music has charms to soothe a savage beast. The savage beast in question was not a Skroggle though, as when the man tried to use music to calm one he found himself, his music, and his notebook eaten. However, legend speaks of a Skroggle that once ate an entire mariachi band. Though fulfilled, he never felt the same afterwards. He left his world-eating ways, wandered into the desert, and was never heard from again. One day a stranger walked into the town that had not heard a single song since the fateful day their mariachi band was eaten by a Skroggle. The stranger sat down, placed the weedlings he held in his robes beside him, and together they proceeded to play. Mariachi never dies. Gnariachi was born. This DLC contains a custom skin for Gnaw in Awesomenauts. The Gnariachi skin comes with a unique character theme, killing spree theme, a unique voiceover, and special in-game audio effects for weedlings. Ksenia	While she was a freshman at the Halion VI Hairdresser Academy Ksenia was chosen by a cosmic force along with four fellow students. This cosmic force promised to unlock the hidden potential within each of them, and arranged for brightly-colored spandex suits of armor to be delivered to their student dorms. They were tasked with fighting evil monsters that threatened the galaxy, and boldly they faced their destiny. Sadly, the 'cosmic force' turned out to be some hacker kid that had been rejected from the academy a year earlier, and Ksenia's fellow chosen-ones were squished when a 20-story tall monster waltzed into town. Ksenia still managed to defeat the monster on her own, and even though she never heard from the 'cosmic force' again after that, she continued to hunt down giant monsters as a part-time job during her time at the academy. 	Scorched leaves flew on the wind as she made her approach. She had been stalking her prey for days, though the events that had lead her to this moment spanned decades. Ksenia tightened the grip on her daggers as she entered the cavern, where she was met with a pair of eyes that burned in the shadow. Only one dragon remained in this world, but it would fall to her blades all the same. She leapt forward and killed her opponent with a single blow. Pieces of armor, weapons, and gold dropped all around her, but she cursed as the ring she had hoped to find was nowhere in sight. "Dammit, now I'll have to grind this part for the seventh time." As the townsfolk entered the cavern to thank her for saving their lives and proclaim her the greatest Hero of all time Ksenia was already browsing through the menu to restart this particular chapter of her favorite game: 'Warrior Princess: Dragon Huntress'. Ksenia played the game whenever she had a few minutes in between the clients that visited her barbershop, but even when she was cutting their hair she sometimes felt like a fearsome warrior, ready to go toe-to-toe with even the mightiest of foes - she was a Dragon Huntress at heart! Nibbs	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Starstorm expansion. For Graygrowl! Battle Nibbs is here! Clad in fiercesome armor, and with freshly-brushed fur, she pounces onto the battlefield with the most powerful Zurian in the Universe! The hunt for Skreeletor is on! 	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Starstorm expansion. Unicorn Nibbs is a unicorn warrior in service to the Unicornhood of Coba. This magical group was bound to the Ohmigosh dimension who, as soon as the Starstorm ripped a hole in the continuum, started an invasion of cuddliness. Right after going through the portal, Nibbs' ship gently touched down on the space station in a pink cloud of smoke. Scouting around, she mistook Gnaw's tail for a juicy piece of lovely unicorn candy. After cheerfully biting down on the treat, the startled Gnaw led her right back to the Awesomenauts who managed to convince her to stay with a wide variety of exotic treats, lots of petting, and by brushing her manes. Penny Fox	This skin requires the Awesomenauts base game AND the Awesomenauts: Starstorm expansion. A stranger arrives on horseback at the border town of San Soleres, at the outskirts of the Raki star system. She is taciturn, watchful, and incredibly fast and accurate with her gun, able to outdraw and kill four bandits, out for blood and a quick solar buck, with startling ease. The innkeeper, Silvanito, asks the Stranger to stay in town, offer protection, become the Sherriff. The Stranger politely declines: "I can never call any townhome. I'm a drifter, a lone gunfighter. A desperado." This DLC contains a custom skin for Penny Fox in Awesomenauts: Starstorm, and comes with a fully customized voice set!

	Raelynn has been recruited by a supersecret bionic spec ops team. The new and improved Bionic Raelynn has augmented her already impressive battlefield performance with bionics, cybernetics, a worn cloak and shiny lights.
	Whoever said 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend' sure never met Soulhuntress Raelynn. Though she spends her days hunting demons, cultists, and other evil scum (which lots of folk appreciate), she's not particularly nice company at parties and friendly get-togethers. One time she attended a feast some villagers organized in her honor and she used her laser rifle to 'cleanse' the demon-shaped chocolate cake the villagers had spent days to prepare for her in secret. In the end, she's just not a people person, and most people have learned to leave her alone and not invite her to their parties. She is GREAT friends with Cuddles though. Together they've cleansed more demons and other evildoers from this world than you'd feel comfortable knowing. And a chocolate cake. This DLC contains a custom skin for Raelynn in Awesomenauts. You need to have Raelynn available as a playable character in order to access the skin in-game. Owning this skin will also unlock the special portrait for use in-game. Rocco	When Rocco was forced to leave the Intergalactic Police Department, he disappeared without a trace. With Rocco out of the picture, his former enemies were emboldened and tightened their grip on the citizens living the densely populated residential areas of Ribbit IV. They soon learned to fear the shadows that once provided them with safety when rumor spread of a new, hooded figure dispensing justice to the unjust. Where they were once hunted by Rocco the Lawman by day, they were now hunted by Shinobi Rocco by night. They say Evil never sleeps, but they never told you that's because the Righteous made Evil afraid of the dark. This DLC contains a custom skin for Rocco in Awesomenauts, and will automatically unlock the character if you have not already done so.

Handcrafted by the elite Zurian battle team known as the Power Strikers, Giga Sentorii is only called upon in the most dire of situations. The Giga form is therefore rarely seen on the battlefields. Skree	In the deepest of evil lairs, the infamous villain Skreeletor can be found trying to turn his dreams of universal conquest into reality. Having found hints of a powerful artifact known only as 'the Golden Weedling', he will do everything in his power to locate and claim this galaxy-conquering tool as his own. The only obstacle in his path is a small tribe of He-Mon'grahs from planet Skrultor Prime trying to obtain the very same artefact. A merchant travelling to the western edges of the Galaxy for an unknown purpose once met a strange being on an asteroid. He allowed the being to accompany him and listened to the many stories that he shared with him. The being came into this world by the name of Sun Wukong, and claimed to wield unimaginable powers. The merchant scoffed at his new companion, and told him "You look like a Monkey, but if you truly are a primate you would be a King among them." Sun Wukung glared at the merchant and zapped him with lightning, burning to him to a crisp. "They called me the Monkey King once, but none remain to do so now. I have become Skree, and I am free!" Admiral Swiggins	So we asked the guys at Team Meat if they would be cool with us making a Dr. Fetus skin for Admiral Swiggins.
