Gnaw has a special gland that is able to produce Weedlings - weird, sentient, plant-like creatures. Once nurtured, they are deposited on the ground from where they procede to shoot Gnaw’s enemies.
Gnaw generates weedling parts over time, and can also use his Bite to gather them faster, which are needed to create weedlings. Gnaw can store enough parts for two weedlings at maximum.
On use, Gnaw spits out a weedling in front of him, damaging enemies in a small area. The weedling then attacks all nearby enemies within its radius using homing projectiles.
Weedlings spawn at low health, which increases over time. Weedlings that are hit by or placed in Acid Spit will be fertilized, growing larger and regenerating health faster.
Only 4 weedlings can exist at any given time; planting more will cause the oldest one to die immediately.
All existing weedlings are destroyed at the same time shortly after Gnaw is killed.
